Mix It Up: Super Bowl Edition

Regardless of your team, where you’re from, or if you just want to watch historically hyped commercials, there’s a good chance you’ll be somewhere in front of a TV on February 5th watching the big game with the squad. Between the snacks, drinks, and friendly trash talking, there’s something for everyone to root for on Super Bowl Sunday.

We here at BeatBox Beverages believe in anything that draws people together for a good time; And since The Super Bowl tends to draw a lot of people together (and I mean A LOT of people-111.9 million last year to be exact), we’re here to make that experience just a bit more epic. Below you’ll find two themed BeatBox drink recipes that let you pick a team to root for (or if you’re an Eagles fan like myself, you’ll be trying to put this past season behind you), and two quick and easy recipes that will make anyone seem like a competent cook. So easy, we had our friends in Little Rock show us how it’s done.

Enjoy the game, have a drink, and try not to roll your eyes if the New England Patriots win another ring. (My heart says, “Go Falcons.”)

                  Baked Honey Sriracha Chicken Wings

For some reason watching the game of football makes us want to satisfy some primal urge to rip into meat with our bare hands and teeth. I’m not entirely sure what the science is behind the two going together so well, but it’s a combination that has lasted for decades. These wings will not only satisfy your taste buds, but they’re easy to make so you can focus on the party.

                  What You’ll Need:

                            - Toss the wings so that they are evenly coated

                              - Place wings onto baking sheet and bake for 20 minutes, flip over, bake for 20 minutes more, and then flip over and bake for an additional 15 minutes until wings are golden and crisp
                              - Move wings into a large bowl

                              Step 4: Sauce

                                Buffalo Chicken Nachos

Nachos are the ultimate finger food. This recipe combines some of favorite things: Buffalo chicken and the cheesy goodness that is nachos. This recipe is quick to make, which is good because they probably won’t make it past the first quarter.
